More information on Types of Aid
Financial Aid is neither automatic nor guaranteed. The process involves the student, the parent, the college, and the US Department of Education.
- Students must apply for financial aid every academic year (Fall, Spring, Summer) by
completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the Texas Application
for State Financial Aid (if applicable). Use 正规靠谱赌博软件 school code: 016666
- The US Department of Education determines your Student Aid Index (SAI) and sends your FAFSA to the schools of your choice.
- The college reviews your application for basic and institutional eligibility requirements, performs verification (when necessary), and may require additional documentation.
- Student is awarded
- The student will need to review the award and:
- Accept/Decline Loans.
- Master Promissory Note (MPN), Student loan acknowledgment, and Direct Loan Entrance counseling required. (Takes 24-48 hours for school to receive MPN)
- Financial Aid will be disbursed and notification will be emailed to student's tuition fee account.
- Student must maintain Financial Aid eligibility from year to year.
- Have at least 2.0 GPA and 70% completion rate.
- Go to class.
- Make good grades.
- See Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)
If you are not meeting one or more of the Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP), then your financial aid is currently suspended.
You may appeal the denial of your financial aid if one of the following occured preventing you from meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) standards.
- Serious medical condition or injury requiring extended recovery time.
- Personal problems (family issues, housing problems, job related problems, etc.)
- Death or serious illness of an immediate family member or yourself (parent, child, sibling)(recent or long term).
- Juggling too much work (work, school, family).

- Other (Excessive work hours, etc.)
You are encouraged to submit your appeal as soon as possible, but no later than the deadline of the 20th class day for Fall or Spring and the 4th class day for Summer. If the appeal deadline falls on a weekend or holiday, you should submit no later than the following business day. In reviewing appeals, we evaluate your entire academic history, not just the most recent semester or year.
**You are responsible for meeting any payment deadlines while waiting on the decision of an appeal. Please do not miss class while waiting on a decision.
Once your appeal is reviewed, you will be notified of the appeal decision via your My正规靠谱赌博软件 email and will be emailed a probation contract to sign with a handwritten signature.
Typically, financial aid is disbursed in two payments per academic year. Students are awarded for Fall/Spring with the first disbursement of funds in the Fall and the second in the Spring.
